The Festival of Cars will take place Saturday June 6th 2009. The show will take place in the same locations as the last show in 2006.

DASH at its monthly meeting voted to approve the Festival of Cars for this date.
Suggested guidelines for the last show will also be requested of the show organizers this year.
Glad to see the car show back. We need more events to attract people to South Haven. There has been a lot of discussion on this from Dash and many other different organizations and pople. I look at the Ice Breaker Festival, what a success, you would of thought it was mid July in downtown South Haven.
ReplyDeleteThere are many months that we don't have any events going on and I believe we need to address that. I would like to see two events a month in the off seasons, we have plenty of events during the Summer. As an example May or October would be a great time for a barbecue cook off with a blues band, let's call it "Smoke On The Water. There could be an armature cook off and a restaurant cook-off.
I am looking forward to getting involved and creating an event.
